Attorneys Realty was established in 2005 by Paul D. Friedman, Ph.D., M.A., J.D., and James L. Pak, J.D. As practicing lawyers, Paul and Jim established Attorneys Realty to add an additional level of service that most of the traditional real estate brokerages don’t offer.

Although not common here in Arizona, there are many other jurisdictions and countries, such as the Midwest, East Coast and Canada, where attorneys are instrumental in real estate transactions and closings. Most, if not the vast majority of real estate transactions in Arizona are handled by title and escrow companies. Because this is the normal practice in the real estate industry, many feel that consulting a lawyer is unnecessary. To the contrary, one should still consult an attorney because there are many pitfalls that may arise even in the most typical real estate transactions.
